COTESA GmbH, a manufacturer of components made from high-quality fibre-reinforced composite materials for the automotive and aerospace industry, is growing and creating new jobs at its new production site near Doebeln/Saxony. The company is investing 10 million euros in a facility formerly used for producing solar modules. The major reason for expanding is a follow-up order Airbus placed in the beginning of this year to supply aircraft components of the A320 series. First production equipment is being installed with the schedule to ramp-up production mid of year 2016.
AIC studied different concepts from factory engineering perspective to optimize the usage of existing buildings, production space and technical facilities. Furthermore, AIC is COTESA’s general engineering partner for engineering and designing tasks in connection with several restructuring activities.
